Garrett Gerloff continues his impressive form from last season as he tops the standings at midday on day-two of Official WorldSBK testing in Barcelona.

Fellow Yamaha rider Toprak Razgatlioglu was first to venture out around the Catalan circuit on day-two.

The Turkish rider was quickly joined on track by Leon Haslam and Scott Redding with the Ducati rider setting the pace.

Six-time World Champion Jonathan Rea was one of the last riders to set a lap during the morning’s running, but went fastest at the beginning of the second hour.

That was until Gerloff jumped ahead of the Kawasaki rider by the slender margin of +0.012s, an advantage he held onto until lunch.

The Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya made it's debut on the WorldSBK calendar in 2020, with Jonathan Rea, Michael Van Der Mark and Chaz Davies all taking a victory each.
