Preview - Cadwell Park Ducati Monster Challenge.

The UK's premier one make race series, the Ducati Monster S4 Challenge moves to Cadwell Park this bank holiday weekend for round four of the Shell Advance sponsored championship.

This follows one of the most exciting races seen so far this season in any BSB class - round three at Thruxton two weeks ago, which saw the Isle of Man's Juan Kinnish extend his championship lead, after an epic battle with Shell Oils guest rider Doug Cowie who took the win.

The Monster riders now face the demanding and hilly Cadwell Park circuit in Lincolnshire. This is sure to provide close & exciting racing as several regulars in the series regard it as their favourite track. An example of a rider going all out to prove a point will be Karl Willerton who lives in nearby Horncastle - especially as his main sponsor, Phil Worth of Lincoln Ducati dealer Italia Moto will be in attendance.

With two rounds of the championship remaining after Cadwell, all riders will be looking to improve both their series position and their chance of taking the ultimate prize for winning the series - an opportunity to test a 748RS or 998RS racebike. Whilst series leader Kinnish is looking favourite at the moment the chasing pack led by Ogden, Cheetham & Burns (currently separated by just one point) will be looking to close the gap.

Championship standings

1. Juan Kinnish - 75 points
2. Carl Ogden - 47 points
2. Mark Cheetham - 47 points
4. Duncan Burns - 46 points
5. Gary Byrne - 31 points
