Ogden takes Monster Cadwell pole.

Newark's Carl Ogden took his first ever Pole position in the Shell Advance backed Ducati Monster S4 Challenge, at round four of the premier one make race series at Cadwell Park.

Out qualifying current championship leader Juan Kinnish by 0.297 of a second, twenty one year old Carl set a blistering lap time of 1:36.360 with his biggest rival in the series Mark Cheetham (currently on the same points) finishing fourth fastest, qualifying on the front row for tomorrows race.

Local rider Karl Willerton from nearby Horncastle sits third on the grid in between the two rivals, as he hopes his local knowledge will benefit him in the race at his home circuit.

Carl Ogden who in the last month has celebrated his 21st Birthday, has become a dad, been promoted at work and bought his first house is hoping that his current lucky streak is going to continue in Sundays 10 lap race.
