British Motorsport Promoters [BMP], the rights holder for the British Superbike Championship, has confirmed a twelve-round 2003 schedule in which new champion Steve Hislop will defend his crown.

The calendar contains return visits to most of the circuits that featured in 2002 - including Rockingham - while containing free dates for a possible trip north of the border to take in Knockhill, yet to be confirmed. The schedule, which contains two Bank Holiday trips - to Oulton and Cadwell Parks - also tries to avoid date clashes with the other major international events, including the British rounds of both the MotoGP and WSBK series, as well as the Isle of Man TT.

The season begins at Silverstone towards the end of March, and culminates sixth months later at Donington Park.
