Kagayama unhurt after 190mph high-side.

Rizla Suzuki's Yukio Kagayama was on a hot lap during the Dunlop Super 12 final qualifying session today at Snetterton when he fell hard at the end of the 190mph Revett straight.

The session was red-flagged and Kagayama rushed to the medical centre. He was later pronounced fit to race tomorrow and will start from 12th on the grid.

"That crash was my biggest yet," said the Japanese with a shake of his head. "I am not sure what happened, but I flew through the air, much higher than my high side at Paul Ricard in 1998 on the Suzuki RGV500. But I am walking and I am okay, which is very good. There are no big problems.

"I am sore now and maybe I will be very sore later on but I will be racing tomorrow," Yukio confirmed. "I was always around fourth or fifth in all the previous practice sessions but I missed the rest of qualifying as I lay in the medical centre and will have to start from 12th. It leaves me a lot to do in the race, but I will try my best to make a good result for my team and my fans."
