Rizla Suzuki recently confirmed to Crash.net that its British Superbike racing machines will continue to be sky blue for 2005, despite strong rumours suggesting otherwise.

Following their championship win with John Reynolds last season there had been talk that they were to change the bikes colouring to silver, to match their sponsor's premier cigarette paper and the Kagayama express special road-bike produced last year.

However Rizla Suzuki recently confirmed to Crash.net that they will keep the blue theme, albeit an evolution of last years design.

The Rizla team are currently preparing to make the trip to Spain this weekend for their first shake-down test of the new GSX-R1000 K5, which is suggested to be significantly up on power to last years 207bhp K4 race-bike.

The first race of the season takes place at Brands Hatch on 28th March.
