HM Plant Honda rider Ryuichi Kiyonari will not be racing at the fourth round of the British Championship due to injuries sustained at the previous round at Mallory Park.

During a first race fall last weekend Kiyonari received concussion and a chipped bone in his left ankle, which he has needed crutches and a removable cast to treat all week.

Kiyonari's scan, to determine the extent of his concussion, was at first reported to be clear by his team, however there were later rumours that the result was not as clear cut as first thought.

The reason Kiyonari is not racing is currently thought to be as a result of his ankle injury, as it was indicated by the team to be the only question mark in the run up to this weekend.
