Lloyds British has taken an equity share in Jentin Racing and the team will complete the remainder of the 2007 British Superbike Season as 'Jentin Racing / Lloyds British'.

"By taking an equitable stake in Jentin Racing rather than taking the advertising route we can really help to shape the future, allowing the team to fully focus on contesting the championship," explained Ian White, chairman of Lloyds British. "We believe that all the components are now in place to become one of the great teams in the British Superbike Series! We certainly have the right rider in Simon Andrews, which together with the teams existing and well proven infrastructure means we have an excellent starting point. This combination with Lloyds British commercial expertise will undoubtedly enable a rapid expansion and strengthening of the Jentin Racing brand over the coming months."

Since the change has come midway through the British Superbike season, the team has decided not to compete at Mondello Park or Knockhill - electing instead to commence testing of the '07 R1 Yamahas with Mountune engines and Pectel electronics.

It is the team's intention to be at the official BSB Croft test and then rejoin the series from Oulton Park, on July 15, onwards.
