BSS: Hobbs takes disrupted win.

Dennis Hobbs on the Padgetts Honda has taken a well earned race win at Mondello Park at round six of the Maxxis British Supersport Championship.

Second place was taken by Jamie Robinson on the Margal/Bykerbabe Honda and third place went to Ulsterman Ian Lowry on the Relentless Suzuki.

The race was heavily disrupted and had to run in two parts as the first leg was red flagged due to Robert Lanigan crashing. Due to TV scheduling for the BSB race the second leg of the Supersport race ran after the second BSB race and that had too was red flagged.

A serious crash involving Steven Neate, Guy Sanders and Cup contender Jamie Hamilton. Neate and Sanders have been taken to hospital for further medical attention.

On the restart Hobbs took the lead and was being chased by Michael Laverty and Billy McConnell when the pair crashed out. This gifted the final steps of the podium to Robinson and Lowry.
