Lee Jackson will return to the Bennetts British Superbike championship in 2020 with FS-3 Racing Kawasaki to complete its rider line-up alongside Danny Buchan.

Jackson has spent the past two seasons in the National Superstock 1000 class having previously competed in BSB between 2015 and 2017.

The British rider has impressed for FS-3 Racing Kawasaki this year in the Superstock 1000 category, taking one win, five second places and two further third places so has duly been given promotion within the team back into BSB.

“Massive thank you to Kawasaki UK and FS-3 Racing for the opportunity next year. I’m really looking forward to getting back on the Superbike and especially with the Kawasaki brand after having such a strong season this year on the Ninja ZX-10RR. I’m really looking forward to knowing what it can do next year as a superbike,” Jackson said.

“Obviously for myself I have a few new goals I’d like to achieve and having a couple of years outside of Superbikes, now I know now what we can do and where we need to be for 2020. So I’m really looking forward to this opportunity on the new bike and putting in a good show for the official Kawasaki team.

“Lee has certainly earned another run in the Superbike class,” Nigel Snook, team owner, added. “His speed and consistency this year have been impressive and together with his previous Superbike experience, made it an easy decision for the team to secure his services for a third year.

“Lee and Danny work well together and an important aspect of deciding to give Lee a run on the big bike is that it provides important continuity in our tight run team. We fully expect Lee to surprise a few people.”

FS-3 Racing pick up the official Kawasaki team status from 2020 in BSB.
