On another rain affected day of BSB testing at Snetterton, it was Visiontrack Ducati rider Christian Iddon who was the man to beat as he topped the two full sessions.

Following Wednesday’s first of three scheduled test days turned out to be a complete washout, weather was slightly improved on day-two at the Norfolk based circuit ahead of today’s final day.

With team-mate and 2020 series champion Josh Brookes not in action due to a hand injury suffered at Silverstone, Iddon was on solo duties for the Paul Bird team but still managed to lead a Ducati one-two ahead of Oxford Racing Ducati’s Tommy Bridewell.

Iddon set a time of 1:51.328s in the morning session before improving by over two seconds in the afternoon to finish with a best effort of 1:49.162s.

Behind Bridewell in third was SYNETIQ BMW Motorrad rider Danny Buchan who finished third in both sessions.

Kyle Ryde continued his impressive form so far in pre-season testing as he claimed fourth place following a top five at Silverstone.

FHO Racing BMW also enjoyed a good start to this test as they did a week ago, but this time it was Peter Hickman who was quickest.

Xavi Fores showed good signs for the brand new BSB team last week, while Hickman was second in the opening session before settling for fifth overall.

Sixth and seventh were the Irwin brothers with Glenn finishing ahead of his younger brother Andrew.

Rounding out the top ten was the second FHO BMW bike of Fores in eighth - Ryan Vickers continued his trend of finishing every test day inside the top ten in ninth, while fellow Kawasaki rider Lee Jackson was tenth quickest respectively.
