When is F1 pre-season testing and how can I follow it?

The countdown to the start of the new Formula 1 season will continue this week as the teams enjoy their final on-track running ahead of the opening race during the second winter test in Barcelona.

The countdown to the start of the new Formula 1 season will continue this week as the teams enjoy their final on-track running ahead of the opening race during the second winter test in Barcelona.

All 10 teams hit the track for the first time in anger with their new cars last week at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, but had to weather the elements as cold conditions and even snow made for limited running at times.

The results page featured a familiar name at the top as Lewis Hamilton turned in the fastest time of the test for Mercedes, finishing ahead of Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel and McLaren driver Stoffel Vandoorne.

However, with teams forced to change their programmes due to the weather conditions, it won't be until this week that we start to see the drivers hitting the track in anger and showing the first signs of performance.

Here's everything you need to know ahead of the start of the second F1 pre-season test in Barcelona on Tuesday.
