Kimi Raikkonen has joined compatriot Heikki Kovalainen in endorsing the Angry Birds revolution, after agreeing to a merchandise deal with app creator Roxio Entertainment.

Just hours after Kovalainen revealed that he would be sporting a new helmet design based on one of the hit game's characters at this weekend's Australian Grand Prix, it was announced that former world champion Raikkonen, who returns to F1 this year with Lotus, would be collaborating on a range of co-branded clothing to accompany the new Angry Birds Space franchise.

While not going as far as changing his on-track appearance to promote the link, 'Iceman' Raikkonen will carry an Angry Birds design - featuring new character 'Ice Bird' - on his team cap during the season.

The clothing range will be available through the Angry Birds web shop later this spring, with Angry Birds Space set for launch next week.
