Sainz will take on his McLaren team boss Zak Brown, Red Bull team principal Christian Horner and Racing Point chief Otmar Szafnauer in the event, which will take place on the Thursday prior to the race at the Canyons Golf Course in Texas.

F1 sporting boss Ross Brawn, 1996 world champion Damon Hill and 1985 Indianapolis 500 winner Danny Sullivan have also been confirmed as taking part, while more celebrities are set to be announced in the coming weeks.

The ‘Grid to Green’ tournament will support the world’s leading breast cancer organisation, Susan G. Komen.
