Cryptocurrency platform Crypto.com has agreed to be the title sponsor of Formula 1’s Miami Grand Prix.

Miami will make its debut on the F1 calendar in May with the circuit situated within the complex of the Hard Rock Stadium, the home of the Miami Dolphins NFL team.

It will host the fifth round of the season on May 6-8, meaning there will be two races in the United States on the 2022 calendar.

Crypto.com will act as the main title partner having previously sponsored F1’s sprint races in 2021.

“We are excited for our long-term title partnership with Crypto.com. We share their commitment to innovation and will apply those high standards to the fan experience at the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix,” said Jeremy Walls, Senior Vice President of the Miami GP

“This will be an international event and we look forward to growing together on a worldwide scale.”

The venue will also feature the Crypto.com terrace which is a hospitality area that will feature 360 degrees of the track as well as an exclusive observation area of Turn 4 for fans.

The fan zone will also be branded with Crypto.com in the centre of the Hard Rock Stadium.
