Kerr is coming off a winning run of four of the last six races, and is now being talked about as the favourite to take this most prestigious of championships. He has recently been re-instated as winner of race eleven at Silverstone, after being exonerated over his part in a clash which eliminated Courtney from that race, and will be looking to take advantage of any lingering effects the Australian may be suffering after his F1 testing crash at Monza last week.

"I have said all year that I can win this championship, and I think that everybody in the team can feel a momentum building towards some great results," he said, "The end of this season could be exciting!"

Kerr's recent successes have spawned an increase in media coverage, with television appearances on BBC and ITV news, an in depth interview on Bloomberg television, and increased coverage in papers such as The Daily Telegraph.
