Plowman set for Masters debut.

Martin Plowman will make his debut in the Formula Three Masters event this weekend, with the annual non-championship race taking place at Zolder for the second successive season.

The race will bring together the best drivers from both the F3 Euroseries and British F3 International Series for the weekend, although Plowman will be forced to line up in unfamiliar colours for the event with his own RC Motorsport team having elected not to compete.

As a result, the Briton will move over to fellow Volkswagen team Signature Plus for the weekend and he said he was looking forward to racing in the event.

"It's a fantastic opportunity to be a part of Formula 3's biggest event," he said. "I'm not expecting to achieve outstanding results in my first year competing in this prestigious race but the experience will be invaluable; not only competing against the cream of Formula 3 drivers but also in learning the Zolder circuit in preparation for next year's Euro Series round.

"None the less, I am looking forward to it."
