Van Amersfoort Racing have now confirmed the decision to entry the new Formula Regional European Championship, which races with Tatuus F3 chassis, with Floersch named in one of its seats.

"Of course, we regret the cancellation of the Formula European Masters, especially after having fully committed to it," said team founder Frits van Amersfoort.

"However, joining the Regional F3 series will add a very respectable step for drivers on their way to the higher echelons of motorsport."

The new Regional F3 series will begin on April 14 at Paul Ricard in support of the European Le Mans Series round, with the opening race set to be Floersch's first event since sustaining injuries to her back in the Macau Grand Prix last November.
