Daniel Abt headed up a one-two finish for the Audi Sport ABT Schaeffler team in second Formula E practice for Saturday's Marrakesh E-Prix, leading home teammate Lucas di Grassi.

After seeing di Grassi set the pace with a full power lap in FP1, Abt responded with the fastest lap of the weekend so far in a foggy second practice that saw conditions cool and visibility levels reduce.

Abt shot to the top of the timesheets late on with a qualifying simulation 200kW lap, turning in a time of 1:19.760 to finish one-tenth of a second clear of di Grassi in second place.

Renault's Sebastien Buemi took third place, finishing just four-hundredths of a second back from di Grassi, with the lead trio being the only drivers to dip below the 1:20s mark.

Mitch Evans led Jaguar's charge once again in fourth place ahead of teammate Nelson Piquet Jr., while Alex Lynn ended the session sixth for DS Virgin Racing.

Jose Maria Lopez impressed on his return to the series with Dragon Racing, finishing seventh ahead of Felix Rosenqvist. The Techeetah duo of Jean-Eric Vergne and Andre Lotterer completed the top 10 positions, with the leading 15 drivers in FP2 being covered by less than one second.
