Formula E releases teaser of Season 5 car with LED Halo
Formula E has given fans a first glimpse of its new 'Generation 2' car for Season 5, featuring a 'Halo' cockpit protection device that includes LED lights.
Formula E will reveal the look of its new chassis that will make its race debut at the start of the fifth season this coming winter when the series doubles the mileage of its batteries, scrapping the in-race car swaps.

Formula E will reveal the look of its new chassis that will make its race debut at the start of the fifth season this coming winter when the series doubles the mileage of its batteries, scrapping the in-race car swaps.
Initial on-track testing has already taken place with Porsche factory driver Frederic Makowiecki, and teams are set to get their first deliveries of the chassis in the coming weeks.
Formula E will digitally unveil renders of the new Generation 2 car - which has already been compared to the fictional Batmobile - on January 30, and gave fans a first taste of the new look with a teaser image posted to Twitter on Saturday.

Formula E will release further renders in the next couple of days before the launch, with an official unveil of the physical car scheduled to take place in March at the Geneva Motor Show.
