Formula E has confirmed it will return to Valencia for three days of pre-season testing in October before the start of the championship's new season in Saudi Arabia on November 22.

Formula E has used the Circuit Ricardo Tormo in Valencia for each of the past two years, modifying the circuit to better resemble the street courses that are used throughout the main season calendar.

The all-electric championship confirmed on Monday that it would be returning to the circuit for the build-up to the 2019-20 campaign, running another three-day test.

All 12 teams will hit the track in Valencia on October 15-16 and October 18, with a one-day break in the middle for media duties.

Each day of testing will run from 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm, giving teams a total of 18 hours of on-track running prior to the start of the new season.

Season 6 of Formula E will see the addition of Mercedes and Porsche to the grid, with the German manufacturers having planned their entries to the series for more than two years.

The duo will hit the track together for the first time on October 15, joined by existing Formula E manufacturers Nissan, Audi, BMW and Jaguar among others.
