IPS: Another pole for new champ Lloyd.

Although he has to watch his recently defeated title rival Hideki Mutoh make his Indycar Series debut at Chicagoland this weekend, newly crowned Indy Pro Series champion Alex Lloyd didn't appear to be too down in the dumps as he claimed his fifth pole position of the season ahead of Sunday's Chicagoland 100 season finale.

Lloyd, who wrapped up the series title at Infineon Raceway last month, recorded a lap of 28.7799secs in his Sam Schmidt Motorsports Dallara-Infiniti for his 12th front row start in 16 races this year.
