Ivan Ortola takes a dramatic debut Moto3 victory at COTA after fighting back from outside the top 20 following a massive save on the opening lap.
Ortola took the lead with two laps to go after a highside for leader Ayumu Sasaki also forced Jaume Masia wide, but then had to overcome a charging Diogo Moreira who briefly took the advantage on the final lap.
Moreira missed out on the podium when Masia successfully dived for second place at the last corner, allowing Xavier Artigas to get a better exit.
