Fiat Yamaha to unveil Laguna livery today

Fiat Yamaha will unveil its special US Grand Prix livery, to be used by Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo at this weekend's Laguna Seca round, later today (Thursday).

The livery is made up of hundreds of pictures of fans, sent in via the team's website.

Fiat Yamaha will unveil its special US Grand Prix livery, to be used by Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo at this weekend's Laguna Seca round, later today (Thursday).

The livery is made up of hundreds of pictures of fans, sent in via the team's website.

"The Fiat Yamaha Team will carry a special livery in Laguna Seca this weekend to celebrate the upcoming launch of the modern-generation Fiat 500 in the USA," said a team statement.

"Global fans of Fiat and Yamaha were given the chance to submit their photos to be pictured on the fairings of the M1s of Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo for this race, with 500 spots available on each bike.

"It took less than 30 minutes to fill the fairings when the special website was opened for the submission of photos.

"The new liveries will be unveiled in the Pit Lane of the Laguna Seca paddock at 1630 Pacific Coast time today, Thursday 22nd July."
