Having raced in predominantly black last season, its first with Honda as an engine supplier, Team Roberts unveiled a more eye-catching red and blue 2007 livery at this weekend's Jerez test.

Despite taking two podiums last year, Kenny Roberts Sr recently cast doubt on his team's 2007 attendance due to financial issues - but the latest signs are that Kenny Jr will be on the grid, riding the team's new KR212V, at the Qatar season opener on March 10.

Roberts Jr finished the rain-interrupted opening day at Jerez in 20th, then claimed 16th position on day two - but is more pleased than his times might suggest.

"We were looking for more front end grip and have been working on the trail and suspension, stuff like that to get it better," said Roberts Jr on Saturday evening. "We got it pretty close with both the front and rear working but we now have more work to do on the rear end. So we had a better day and go into the final day looking to get a good set up and feeling ready or the race next month."

The new Team Roberts livery features sponsorship from UK-based 'car supermarket' Motorpoint.
