Catalunya MotoGP, Barcelona - Qualifying 1
The top two riders in Q1 now progress to the Q2 pole position shootout, where they will join the ten fastest riders after third practice. The others will start, in the following order, from 13th on the grid onwards.
Avintia's Hiroshi Aoyama has withdrawn for the remainder of the weekend after a heavy fall in Saturday practice. Aoyama will be replaced by Spanish rider Javier Del Amor.
Pramac's Ben Spies continues to be side-lined by his healing shoulder and is replaced by Ducati test rider Michele Pirro.
