Jorge Lorenzo takes pole by almost half-a-second while title rival Valentino Rossi falls at the end of qualifying at Valencia.

However Rossi will start last on the grid after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) refused a request to suspend the Sepang penalty while his appeal is in progress.
