MotoGP Malaysia - Free Practice (2) Results

Rins fastest for Suzuki after setting the fastest time of the day at the end of FP2 at the Malaysian MotoGP.

Nine riders - including Dovizioso and Rossi - did not improve their best lap time in FP2.

Stefan Bradl is filling in for the injured Cal Crutchlow at LCR Honda after the British rider suffered a fractured right ankle in Australia.

Lorenzo is returning from left wrist injuries in Thailand, but was 24th and last in both sessions.

Tito Rabat is still recovering from leg fractures at Silverstone and again replaced by WorldSBK rider Jordi Torres. Torres has the GP16 machines of Simeon, who is on Rabat's GP17s.
