Tandragee 100 Road Races Cancelled for 2010

A club statement reveals that the decision has been taken to abandon plans to run the Tandragee 100 Road Races in 2010 due to 'the current economic climate and circumstances beyond our control'

A statement from the organisers of the Tandragee 100 National Road Races has confirmed that the event has been cancelled for 2010 'due to the current economic climate and circumstances beyond our control'.

The statement added that the organisers, the North Armagh Club, intended to run the race again in 2011.

The Tandragee event, which had been scheduled to take place on Saturday 1 May, celebrated its 50th anniversary last year.

Michael Dunlop secured a hat-trick of wins in last year's event and claimed the 'Man of the Meeting Award'.

This years Tandragee 100 was to have been the third round of the 2010 Duke Road Race Rankings Series.
