Seeley returns to Tyco BMW for NW200

21-time North West 200 winner Alastair Seeley has returned to the TAS Racing-run Tyco BMW fold for the 2018 event in the Superbike and Superstock races.

After the Ulsterman made history at the road racing event by extending his wins tally to 21 in 2017, Seeley makes his Tyco BMW return for this year’s NW200. The Northern Irish squad also has a wealth of experience and success at the event with 27 wins to date produced by TAS Racing-prepared bikes.

Seeley is naturally thrilled to return to Tyco BMW for 2018 and is confident of reaching new heights this year.

“I am really happy to be back with the Tyco BMW team for another year at the NW200,” Seeley said. “It feels like I’m part of the family, this will be our seventh year together at the triangle.

“We start in a good place with last year’s settings and with new bike developments we hope to go even faster this year. I’m looking forward to testing and getting back onboard the BMW S1000RR Superbike and Superstock bikes soon.”

Tyco BMW boss Philip Neill has welcomed back Seeley and is delighted to secure the potent combination once again.

“Alastair feels like part of the family at TAS Racing and it is fantastic to have him on our Tyco BMW machines for another year at the NW200,” Neill said. “A lot of his and our success at the event has been achieved together and we look forward to trying to add to that success in May.”

The International NW200 takes place from May 13th-19th with Tyco BMW contesting both the Superbike and Superstock 1000 races.
