Reading have announced their fifth signing of the winter for their 2004 team, as the Euphony Racers have signed up Chris Mills on loan from Oxford to fill one of the reserve berths.

Mills comes in to the Racers septet after riding to a steady 3.70 average from 24 meetings with Isle of Wight in 2003. The 20-year-old made a couple of guest appearances for the injury hit Racers last season, which included an excellent 9 paid 11 in Reading's only away win of the season (46-44) at Stoke Potters.

Mills, who lines-up with a 3.61 average (after the 2.5% British reduction), has a few years Conference League experience under his belt, which has seen him turn out for Kings Lynn, Wimbledon and Oxford.
