Doncaster, Bunyan pull out of British semi-final.

Jeremy Doncaster and Jason Bunyan have pulled out of the British semi-final due to be staged at Newport on April 29.

Home rider Steve Masters and Reading's Phil Morris take their places. However Masters' participation could be in doubt depending on the extent of injuries sustained in Newport's Easter Sunday home defeat against Swindon.

He sustained neck and shoulder injuries, and is due to have a hospital examination later this week to diagnose the full extent of the damage.

Exeter's Seemond Stephens and Sheffield's Simon Stead are the two reserves for the meeting which is an early stage in the qualification process for the 2001 Grand Prix series. The top four riders go through to the British Final at Coventry.
