Billy Hamill has won the 2001 American Motorcyclist Association National Speedway Championship. He claimed the title at the Gold County Fairgrounds in Auburn, California last Friday night from Billy Janniro. Ryan Fisher and Chris Manchester.
"I waited a long time to win my first AMA National Championship in 1999," Hamill said later. "It was tough losing the title last year and it feels great to get it back.
