Speedway back to Scunthorpe?

Hopes are high that a new track could be opened in Scunthorpe at Conference League level as early as next season.

Campaign organiser Rob Godfrey has been working closely with the council and is hoping to build a track on a plot of land at Normanby Park.

"It has been allocated as suitable for 'disruptive activities' on the local plan and motor sport comes under that category," said Godfrey.
