Cegielski to miss Cardiff after crash.
Rising Polish star Krzysztof Cegielski will miss this weekend's British Grand Prix - and possibly the rest of the season - after crashing out of a league event in Sweden.
The 23-year old was taken to a local hospital, where doctors worked on serious back injuries through the night. While those were the worst of Cegielski's injuries, he is also reported to have broken a rib and punctured a lung in the incident, and remains in a serious condition. The doctors are confident that the procedure went well, but have so far refused to make a full diagnosis regarding the Pole's recovery.

Cegielski currently lies twelfth overall in the Speedway Grand Prix series, but it is unclear whether he will return to contest any more races this year.
Peter Karlsson makes a third return to the GP series this season as a result of Cegielski's absence, and will wear the #26 bib in Cardiff.
