Stoke hope to have Alan Mogridge back in their ranks for this coming weekend's meetings against Somerset and Exeter. Mogridge has indicated he may be ready to return after arm and shoulder injuries.

The Potters could certainly use him after losing 48-44 at home to Arena-Essex on Sunday. Stoke have been hard hit by injuries this season and covering for Mogridge has proved a difficult job.

It's understood that long term injury victim Robbie Kessler is nearing a return to racing fitness which could signal an upturn in the Potters' fortunes and help them climb away from the lower reaches of the Premier League.
