Hull's promoter, Nigel Wordsworth, commented, "As reserve, Richard will be expected to score at least three points for us against the Islanders. His previous rides at Craven Park, both for and against Hull, have shown that he is quite capable of doing this so we are hopeful of a good result tomorrow.

"Richard is one of the riders we have been helping all season, with rides for both the Hull and Scunthorpe junior teams, and we are pleased to once again give him a chance to show his ability in the Premier League."
