Richard Hall has been named as reserve for the Hull Vikings Speedway Team in their Premier League match against the Isle of Wight tonight. Richard is 18 and comes from Northallerton, North Yorkshire. He has ridden for the Vikings on a couple of other occasions both home and away. He takes the slot in the team that has been vacant since Lee Dicken moved from Hull to Newcastle.

Hull's promoter, Nigel Wordsworth, commented, "As reserve, Richard will be expected to score at least three points for us against the Islanders. His previous rides at Craven Park, both for and against Hull, have shown that he is quite capable of doing this so we are hopeful of a good result tomorrow.

"Richard is one of the riders we have been helping all season, with rides for both the Hull and Scunthorpe junior teams, and we are pleased to once again give him a chance to show his ability in the Premier League."
