Fujiwara keeps Supersport pole.

Katsuaki Fujiwara held on to pole position for tomorrow's opening round of the 2003 World Supersport championship, despite not improving on his best lap from yesterday.

Indeed, of the 25 riders present, only seven - Kellner [6th], van den Goorbergh [9th], Corradi [10th], Parkes [14th], Lagrive [19th], Cruciani [21st] and Andersen [22nd] - were able to better their Friday times.

Thus Fujiwara [pictured] kept his 0.15secs advantage over Chris Vermeulen, but the young Aussie was by far the quickest man on track today and came within a few hundredths of beating his Friday pace.

Lining up third on the grid will be Karl Muggeridge, 0.8secs slower today than yesterday, while Ulm, Teuchert and Kellner complete the top six.
