Stop! Your exhaust's on fire...

A rather amusing story has emerged from the race debut of the Foggy Petronas FP1 at Valencia last weekend - or more precisely, it's spectacular habit of throwing flames a foot or more from the under seat exhausts when the throttle's shut off.

It appears that one of Troy Corser's closest friends, Jay, joined him at Valencia to support the Aussie's return to WSBK action.

A rather amusing story has emerged from the race debut of the Foggy Petronas FP1 at Valencia last weekend - or more precisely, it's spectacular habit of throwing flames a foot or more from the under seat exhausts when the throttle's shut off.

It appears that one of Troy Corser's closest friends, Jay, joined him at Valencia to support the Aussie's return to WSBK action.

But after race one, Jay received a phone call from his worried girlfriend, warning him that she'd seen flames coming out of Troy's exhaust... and that he'd better tell his Engineers!

Apart from Jay's girlfriend, the spectacular [and harmless] pyrotechnic display - caused by the ignition of unburnt fuel, a 'problem' FPR have been trying to reduce for months - was universally welcomed by fans around the world.
