Unfortunately during free practice one Gobert aggravated an old injury and will not be able to take part in this weekend's racing.

"I was going into the second right hander which is turn five when the front tucked as we had been having a few front end concerns. My right foot came off the peg and went under my back tyre," he explained to Crash.net.

Gobert already has pins in his right ankle from a previous injury so this incident means he needs to miss the on track action and get back to full fitness for his Spanish Championship commitments.

"No more World rounds for me," said Gobert, "I will be concentrating on the Spanish Championship with Coronas instead."
