Rolfo at Ten Kate, Hannspree replaces Winston.

Following Winston's withdraw from international motorsport, Ten Kate Honda has announced Hannspree as its new title sponsor for the 2007 season - and confirmed Roberto Rolfo as its second World Superbike rider.

Following Winston's withdraw from international motorsport, Ten Kate Honda has announced Hannspree as its new title sponsor for the 2007 season - and confirmed Roberto Rolfo as its second World Superbike rider.

"Ten Kate Honda Racing wants to thanks Winston for these two successful seasons which saw the conquer of two Supersport World Championship with French rider Sebastien Charpentier. The partnership has surely also helped the Team and the Superbike World Championship to grow his level of professionalism and for this we really appreciated Winston and JTI," read a Ten Kate statement.

"For the 2007 season the Ten Kate Honda Team will continue to participate to the Superbike and Supersport World Championship thanks to the new partnership with LCD Monitor & TV producer Hannspree. The line up for the Hannspree Ten Kate Honda Team will be James Toseland and Roberto Rolfo in the Superbike World Championship with the Honda CBR 1000 RR, and World Champion Sebastien Charpentier and Kenan Sofuoglu in the Supersport World Championship with the brand new CBR 600 RR," the statement added.

The arrival of Hannspree, which will also support Honda's leading Motocross grand prix team and be a major partner in Honda Italy's RS125 GP Trophy, was also welcomed by Honda Motor Europe:

"Honda Motor Europe, Motorcycle Div. give a warm welcome to LCD Monitor producer Hannspree BV as the 2007 main sponsor of our supported racing teams participating in the following Championships: Team Honda Ten Kate (Superbike World Championship and Supersport World Championship) and Team Honda Martin racing (World Motocross Championship Class M1 and MX2)

"Hannspree will also be a major partner in the RS125 GP Trophy organised by Honda Italy.

"Honda Motor Europe, Motorcycle Div. take this opportunity to thank also Winston for their passionate support during the last two years to our satellite team Ten Kate: the result of this cooperation was two World Champion titles in World Super Sport and two brilliant achievements in World Superbike Championship.

"Our best wishes to Hannspree and our teams for the 2007 racing season."

Ten Kate Honda finished second in the 2005 WSBK championship, with Chris Vermeulen, and also the 2006 championship, with Toseland. Former grand prix rider Rolfo joins the squad after spending his rookie SBK season on a Caracchi Ducati.

Rolfo replaces Karl Muggeridge, who has already signed to ride a Bertocchi Honda next season.
