Cluzel meets Crescent

Jules Cluzel visits Crescent Suzuki HQ.

Fixi Crescent Suzuki's new signing Jules Cluzel has made his first visit to the team's headquarters in Verwood, England to meet his crew and try out the GSX-R1000 for size.

Cluzel will get his first chance to ride the Yoshimura-powered machine at a test in Spain early next year, before he begins his competitive Crescent career at Phillip Island in Australia on Sunday February 24th.

"I am really happy to have come here to England and meet the team and see my new bike," said the 2012 World Supersport Championship runner-up. "I am really looking forward to riding the Suzuki GSX-R and I am very excited about the first run in the first test because the bike felt great as soon as I sat on it; now I want to ride it!"

Crew chief Lez Pearson added: "I became a fan of Jules last season and saw that he was a real talent. I'm sure that is something we can help him grow. We are all really looking forward to working with him and the first test can't come soon enough."

Cluzel will ride alongside continuing Crescent rider Leon Camier next season.
