FIRST LOOK: GoEleven Ducati unveil new livery for Davies

Team GoEleven Ducati and Chaz Davies have taken the covers off their brand new baby blue livery ahead of the 2021 World Superbike season, which sees them move away from the fluorescent yellow and red of previous years.

The distinctive new livery also features telecoms company Aruba.it, which is the main sponsor of the factory team.

Davies has effectively swapped seats with Michael Ruben-Rinaldi for 2021, as the Italian joins last season's championship runner-up Scott Redding.

In 2020, Team GoEleven Ducati took their first win in WorldSBK with Rinaldi at the first Aragon Feature race, and also finished the season as Independent team champions.

They will be looking to build on that success with the experienced Davies, who has 32 wins in the top class which puts him sixth for most race wins all-time.

Davies could not be present at the team presentation as he recovers from Covid-19, but joined the team via social media to talk about the new livery and 2021 season.

Davies said: "I really like the new livery. Obviously as a rider, it isn’t something you have a lot of input in, and you hope you like the design, but I absolutely love this colour and it is nice to have something different on the grid for 2021."

With satellite teams enjoying large amounts of success last season, the move from Aruba.it Ducati is not one that should stop Davies from achieving similar results as last season.

Speaking about what he wants to get out of this season, the Welshman added: “For the 2021 season, I just want to enjoy it to be honest."

"Hopefully, we can have a normal season without too much interruption like in 2020. I want to get 100% out of myself and this for me, in the past, has always been the approach.

"Instead of setting a big target or speaking too much beforehand. I’m confident that if I’m happy and that if I can have the correct support from Ducati, then we can achieve the same results that we achieved in the past: fighting for the podium and winning many races."
