Sunoco wins BSB fuel contract
Sunoco Race Fuels has won the tender to supply fuel to the British Superbike Championship for the next five years.
The company has a rich tradition in motorsport having also provided fuel for the British Formula 3 and GT Championships, the British Rally Championship and Britcar, though this announcement marks its highest profile deal.
In addition to supplying fuel, Sunoco will also be the title sponsor to the British 125 GP Championship.
"We are extremely proud of being selected as the official fuel supplier for the BSB," said Sunoco's Rob Marro. "We look forward to playing an integral role as BSB continues to establish itself as the most prestigious domestic motorcycle series in Europe.
"The title sponsorship of the British 125 Grand Prix class is a designation that fits nicely with the long standing practices at Sunoco to work closely with the young rising stars of tomorrow. We were appointed the official fuel of AMA Pro Road Racing in 2008 and it has proven to be a great partnership for Sunoco Race Fuels and motorcycle racing across the USA."
