Buchan ready to be fighting fit for BSB

Danny Buchan says he is ready to be fighting fit for his debut full British Superbike season with Be Wiser Kawasaki

Danny Buchan says he is ready to be fighting fit for his debut full British Superbike season with Be Wiser Kawasaki.

The 21-year-old rider was crowned the Superstock 1000 champion last season and has graduated into BSB for 2015. The Basildon-born racer joins former BSB rider Tommy Hill's team and will team-mate superbike veteran Chris Walker and he hopes to benefit from partnering the highly-experienced team in his first full season.

"I did a three day test at Cartagena on my practice bike and that went smoothly," Buchan said. "It's exciting seeing everything materialise behind the scenes with my leathers, boots, crash helmets and sponsors all beginning to take shape.

"I'm determined to eat healthy and keep my fitness levels high for the upcoming season. I can't wait to get on the new bike but it will count for nothing if I'm not physically and mentally prepared for when the starting lights go out at Donington Park."

Buchan is preparing for the first official BSB test on 26th March before the season-opener at Donington Park on the 4-5 April.
