The TAS Racing Tyco BMW has had its official unveiling ahead of the team's first MCE British Superbike Championship season using S1000RR machinery.

Having established itself as a front runner on short courses and roads as a Suzuki-supported customer, TAS Racing will switch allegiance to BMW for both disciplines in the Superbike and Superstock 1000 classes in 2015. In turn, TAS Racing will be BMW Motorrad's officially supported entry on the track and roads this year.

Maintaining title backing from security products firm Tyco and luring the all-new rider line-up of ex-MotoGP rider Michael Laverty and BSB race winner Tommy Bridewell in BSB, team manager Philip Neill cannot wait for the start of the season.

"All the hard work has paid off and we seem to have pleased BMW with our 2015 livery. It's been a busy winter with a lot of change for all of us at TAS Racing, but we still have the support of Phil Dashey and his team at Tyco Security Products, and all our other associate sponsors.

"Of course we are obviously very honoured to have been chosen as BMW Motorrad to spearhead their official effort this season in British Superbike. It's almost time to take the bike on track in preparation for what we anticipate will be an exciting season."

As well as Bridewell and Laverty in the BSB class, Tyco BMW will compete in the National Superstock 1000 class with Alistair Seeley, as well as the North West 200.
