Red Bull has given four young riders from the British 125cc Championship the opportunity to pit their skills against the best of the Spanish riders in Jerez next month.

Lee Longdon, Steven Neate, Paul Veazy and Dan Coutts will join Red Bull Rookies' riders Midge Smart and Jay Rea in the last round of the highly competitive Spanish national championship on the weekend of 23-24 November.

All of the riders, plus one of their own mechanics, will fly out with Rookies team manager, Robin Appleyard on the evening of Thursday 20th, while their bikes will go over in the team's transporter earlier that month.

"The young riders have been chosen as a result of their achievements during 2003, either by podium places or all round consistency over the season," said Red Bull motorsports manager Linda Pelham. "Giving these young lads the opportunity to test their skills against a very competitive field of riders, reinforces Red Bull's goal of finding opportunities to help young athletes. We are sure that the four lads chosen will do their best to gain the most out of this European racing experience."

Daniel Cooper will be racing in the last two rounds of the Spanish championship independently.
