Kiyonari and Okada aid Ten Kate?

HM Plant Honda's Ryuichi Kiyonari and HRC mentor Tady Okada, were in attendance at Monza for the fourth round of World Superbike championship with the Winston Ten Kate Honda team at the weekend.

The Japanese pair were apparently not there in an official capacity, but could well have offered some of their expertise with the CBR 1000RR - that took Kiyonari to eight straight wins in the 04/05 British Superbike championship.

Something seems to have given the Ten Kate team a boost as they recorded their first win of the season with rider Chris Vermeulen and made a huge leap forward in speed towards the dominating Alstare Suzukis of Troy Corser and Yukio Kagayama.
