After a season that has been far from his satisfaction, British Superbike team boss Paul Bird has revealed that his has changes in store for the season finale at Brands Hatch, including a new third rider for the Stobart Honda Superbike squad.

Donington Park was a race meeting that the squad termed as a 'weekend of frustration,' and Bird is hoping for better results for the last round of the championship.

"We have an obligation to our sponsors and to the team to end the season on a positive note and I'm already making plans to bring in another rider at Brands Hatch who could do just that for us," said Bird at the end of the Donington Park round.

"Michael and Gary have struggled recently and it could just be the tonic they need to spur them on but for a team that is used to winning championships, racking up a few points here and there is not what we are interested in. We need to move on from here and fast and it has to be our aim to round the season off in style."
