Bridewell leads tight FP3 session

Full BSB FP3 results from Oulton Park

Tommy Bridewell has topped his first session for Moto Rapido Ducati in the final practice at Oulton Park as all six Bennetts British Superbike Showdown challengers finish FP3 inside the top ten.

With Bridewell edging the session with a 1m 34.485s, the former BSB race-winner headed up a host of potential Showdown spoilers at the Cheshire track.

JG Speedfit Kawasaki’s Luke Mossey claimed second place in FP3 ahead of Danny Buchan on the FS-3 Racing Kawasaki and Richard Cooper on the Buildbase Suzuki.

That left fastest BSB Showdown contender Jake Dixon down in fifth place, having topped both Friday practice sessions for RAF Regular & Reserves Kawasaki, fractionally ahead of championship leader Leon Haslam on the JG Speedfit Kawasaki.

McAMS Yamaha’s Josh Brookes followed directly behind the championship top two in seventh place with fellow BSB title fighters Glenn Irwin (Be Wiser Ducati), Bradley Ray (Buildbase Suzuki) and Peter Hickman (Smiths Racing BMW) rounding out the top ten.
